VEENER THEORY
Usually the wood veneer is a mask, a cover, a layer of a precious but thin wood applied on a more economical support. The choice to use these thin sheets of these noble woods is like giving body to their essence again.
I was interested in being able to work with wood for the first time, but to do so with a different and new process based on the principle of addition and not subtraction of the wood itself.
Each piece is constructed and it’s given a unique shape, informed and suggested by the wood grain.
